Thus it is advisable to research the market well and purchase fittings that are most suitable to your needs and are of good quality. Its always better to choose fittings that last you a lifetime, because changing them could be a nightmare.
Sinks come in a variety of styles and sizes. You have ones with single bowls and those with double bowls. They come in a variety of materials ranging from steel to more decorative ones like porcelain or glass. Some of them come with a dish-rack mounted or with a draining board. A draining board though takes away lots of space, is quite useful to keep dishes and allowing them to drain out water. The market is flooded with interesting looking and various purpose-serving faucets that come in a variety of finishes ranging from the basis stainless steel to the chrome-plated brass. You may opt for a faucet with a separate spout for hot and cold water or you could probably choose a single one that allows temperature control. Other features that your faucet could provide you with include hand spray, bubble flow, etc which are meant to be soft on the hands, make less noise, etc.
Besides sinks and faucets, you need to look into hinges, drawer holders and other cabinet hardware for your kitchens. Though these are small aspects and less aesthetic and more functional they need to be of good quality to enable smooth functioning in the kitchen.
Electrical connections
One aspect of kitchen planning which is extremely crucial but usually left for the last moment is electrical connections. Your kitchen cannot function without proper connections and electrical points in place. Factors such as earthing need to be taken into place. Electrical points need to be placed close to the gadgets so as to avoid fuss of wires. Most importantly, they should be kept far away from the wet areas to avoid short circuits and other disasters.
